Story & Lore
A world of order, belief, and awakening.
A World Out of Balance
The world still functions.
Cities glow. Screens flicker. Systems promise safety and progress. Yet beneath the surface, something ancient has shifted.
Power no longer belongs to nations or kings. It belongs to structures — invisible, interconnected, unquestioned.
That system has a name.
Babylon.
The Age of Babylon
Babylon does not rule through conquest.
It rules through stability.
Through technology, media, and authority, it offers a world without uncertainty — where choices are guided, emotions are managed, and belief is shaped into something safe.
Most people accept this order willingly. A few sense something vital has been taken from them, though they struggle to explain what.
Those who question too loudly are ignored. Those who refuse are isolated.
And some simply disappear.
The Whispered Prophecy
Long before Babylon’s rise, the ancestors spoke of an age like this.
A time when humanity would drift from its spiritual centre. When belief would be rewritten. When truth would fracture.
In that age, the prophecy says, certain individuals would awaken — bound not to crowns or nations, but to forces far older than Babylon itself.
They would not rise to rule.
They would rise to confront.
The prophecy is incomplete. Its meaning is disputed. Some see it as hope. Others see it as a warning.
Ether — The Unseen Force
Across cultures and generations, stories persist of a force that flows through all living beings.
Some call it spirit. Some call it emotion. Some call it Ether.
Most people never feel it.
Yet a small number experience moments — heightened emotion, vivid dreams, sudden clarity — as if something unseen is stirring beneath the surface.
Whether Ether is a myth, a memory, or a truth waiting to be understood remains uncertain.
But Babylon watches those who feel it most closely.
Belief in a Controlled World
In an age shaped by Babylon, belief itself has become a battleground.
Some place their faith in institutions that promise safety and guidance. Others reject belief entirely, embracing order without meaning.
And some quietly preserve ancient teachings, passed down in fragments and whispers.
Where belief survives, resistance often follows.
Not all resistance takes the form of war. Some of it begins with questions.
The Awakening
This is not a story about heroes who save the world.
It is a story about people forced to choose — between comfort and truth, obedience and self-discovery, order and freedom.
When the Righteous Warriors awaken, the world will not be ready.
Neither will the reader.
Righteous Warriors Characters
Osei
A hardened fighter shaped by conflict and loss. Driven by sheer will, Osei carries the weight of survival on his shoulders, walking a path forged by discipline, anger, and an unyielding sense of purpose. His strength is not just physical—it is personal.
Makhanda
A calm and disciplined warrior chosen by forces older than memory. Guided by ancestral balance rather than rage, Makhanda moves with quiet certainty. He represents harmony in a world spiraling toward chaos.
Amina
Compassionate, observant, and deeply resilient. In a world ruled by violence and control, Amina’s strength comes from empathy and emotional clarity. Though she does not seek battle, her presence carries a power that cannot be ignored.
